Okay, so a few days ago, I was going to get my brother from his friends house, and when I came back. I found a Squrriel. Yeah...I was like,'o__o' so I went up to it.....And picked it up. So there I was, with a baby squrriel. How often does that happen? I begged to keep him. Eveyone was freaking out at first. But now they love him <3 So now I have a squrriel. He is probaby the tamest squrriel you will ever meet. o__o I'll try and post a picture of him later. And for you law enforcers/tree huggers out there...I WILL give him up to a squrriel shelter, but not now. Cause of Huricane Ike. :/

I think everyone was freaked out because such a squirrel might have rabbies. If it bites you, don't chance that it doesn't, and go straight to the hospital.
For the moment though, take really good care of it, and make sure to take it to the proper people as soon as you can.
I wouldn't worry too much about rabies... Squirrels aren't really known to carry rabies, or infect anyone with rabies for that matter. But if he were to bite you, be sure, as Gemini said, have it checked out.
